Narrow Mindset V/s Broad Mindset

When human beings born they are just like an empty bucket nothing in it. If we fill the bucket with gasoline it will cause to fire at the same time if we use that bucket to fill the sand then it will help us to curb the fire. Like same human beings also equal to empty bucket filled with fire, sand, water etc.

Just to take two live examples - one is my current boss and another is my previous boss. When I bought my new TBTS, boss comments really hurts me. He told why did you purchased another brand of vehicle, why didn’t you go for Pulsar 220 or Avenger… etc. But when I sit and think about it I felt that it was not his fault it shows his narrow mindset that’s why he is commenting like that. His only aim is selling particular brand of vehicle and making money and spending money for himself and his family to buy whatever he wants. Here when buying the things for personal use he will not hang for the same brand which he sells to the others, here he looking for the best buy for the money. He will not think about others also have their own views, desires etc.

Take the second example, when I was working with an N.G.O I got an good opening in automobile industries, I decided to join that company because from my child hood I am interested in automobile industries, especially in two wheeler modification/tuning/rebuilding etc and got a good salary package, hence I generally attracted towards that job. When I took my boss suggestion regarding this, his reply was “congratulations Sathish, you got a good opportunity in your favourite field go and join them‘ If you are not satisfied there then come back”.

By birth both of them are born as empty buckets, but education, culture and living society crafted them into “Narrow minded” and into “Broad minded” persons by filling different material in them. By birth everybody is empty bucket so don’t treat these small empty buckets as dust bin please fill with it flowers which cools viewers eyes and gives fragrance and takes nothing.

Jai ho India...

When I passed Badiadka it’s around 06:50 P.M suddenly clouds thicken and wind flow increased I didn’t took rain coat, so I twisted my right hand little more just within a one kilometer lightning and storm started and clouds were thickened and suddenly I couldn’t see what is in front of me I just crossed Karimbila bridge it’s so darken that nothing is visible it’s forced me to change pilot lamp to high beam in this situation I passed just 5km and when Near Ballambettu bus stop heavy rain started along with thunder lightning and storm. On my headlight l saw two men parking their Star City near bus stop and went inside for shelter. I am the third character who joined them whispering “It’s suddenly started”, one of them shook his head. After a while a Hero Honda dawn coming from Kasaragod direction stopped and one middle aged Brahmin and a girl and a boy (they might be his son and daughter) joined us now rain was in it’s full fledge. All are waiting for stop the rain nobody is talking. After 5 minutes a bus coming from Kasaragod stopped and a middle aged get down from the bus and ran towards us to shouting “What a rain”. Soon another Star City came and two people joined us one of them was familiar face but I can’t remember exactly who was he. The last person who Joined us was a “Chetan” who is working in rubber plantation near Kadamane.

It’s around 07:15 P.M. rain was in full throttle every body just waiting for stop the rain, one by one start talking no introduction, no subject, someone start to talk early rain, another talking how difficult to raid the bike on this rainy night, “chetan” talking rubber plantation difficulties, other person talking political issues, middle aged Brahmin has to raid 30Km at night, because next day Bharath Bandh called by some of the political idiots. Around 08:00 P.M. rain completed it’s second installment so I took my helmet and continued my journey……

Here all are strangers nobody knows each other but everybody’s intension is same just take a shelter….. We all are talked each other different subjects, No cast, no religion, no politics, different language….. Unity in diversity it’s happened because it’s India…. Jai ho India.

BOSSISM

Difference between a Boss and a Leader - A Boss creates fear; A Leader creates confidence. So, A Leader becomes a good Boss but a boss cannot be a good leader.

I have got a opportunity to work under many bosses some of are excellent some of are good and some of are worst. When I was working at Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INMAS), My first boss was a lady boss, till my life I never seen such a lady. When she was entering the office it remembers me a “Yakshagana artist” who enters the stage with dancing and shouting. All the morning we pray for the god that ‘keep her mood cool’ I have worked under her more than one and half years and transferred to another section. This is golden era for me he is a civil person who transferred from Bangalore to Delhi and originally belongs to Haryana. He is really a great boss he always treat me as a friend and he taught many things to me. When I was upset due to some family matters he treated me as a brother and gave guidance and he never let me to feel homesick at Delhi. I don’t have a word to describe how he treats me, really I miss him. For the short period of six month I have got an opportunity to work as a Personal Secretary to Major General. He is a very strict person at work but his heart is soft I enjoy the work.

When I was worked as a front office executive at Switzerland based N.G.O I come to touch with a very soft natured boss, I have never seen such a personality. He is a retired Colonel from Indian Army and a famous endocrinologist. He treats small boys to C.M in single manner, very soft spoken. If he have a two cars at home he always prefer to travel by public transports and he is always against to waste the time and money and always take care of nature.
There after I joined the Bulletwallas Indian Pvt Ltd I came to know the taste of a Foreign Boss. Yes, this company was run by a Newziland based couples here there is no discrimination between religion, cast, gender nothing he just treat all of us as human beings. He himself doing any work. One simple example is when we all are celebrating at ‘Ayudaha Pooja’ festival at workshop he is busy to cleaning the toilet. But he never likes indiscipline. If he comes through this he starts to shouting and firing.

And finally…..my present Boss?

It’s better to keep quiet, his policy is… “Buying a cheap to save money” but he does not know it’s like “stopping the clock to save time”.
