Narrow Mindset V/s Broad Mindset

When human beings born they are just like an empty bucket nothing in it. If we fill the bucket with gasoline it will cause to fire at the same time if we use that bucket to fill the sand then it will help us to curb the fire. Like same human beings also equal to empty bucket filled with fire, sand, water etc.

Just to take two live examples - one is my current boss and another is my previous boss. When I bought my new TBTS, boss comments really hurts me. He told why did you purchased another brand of vehicle, why didn’t you go for Pulsar 220 or Avenger… etc. But when I sit and think about it I felt that it was not his fault it shows his narrow mindset that’s why he is commenting like that. His only aim is selling particular brand of vehicle and making money and spending money for himself and his family to buy whatever he wants. Here when buying the things for personal use he will not hang for the same brand which he sells to the others, here he looking for the best buy for the money. He will not think about others also have their own views, desires etc.

Take the second example, when I was working with an N.G.O I got an good opening in automobile industries, I decided to join that company because from my child hood I am interested in automobile industries, especially in two wheeler modification/tuning/rebuilding etc and got a good salary package, hence I generally attracted towards that job. When I took my boss suggestion regarding this, his reply was “congratulations Sathish, you got a good opportunity in your favourite field go and join them‘ If you are not satisfied there then come back”.

By birth both of them are born as empty buckets, but education, culture and living society crafted them into “Narrow minded” and into “Broad minded” persons by filling different material in them. By birth everybody is empty bucket so don’t treat these small empty buckets as dust bin please fill with it flowers which cools viewers eyes and gives fragrance and takes nothing.
