Time Pass cooking......

Take 2 cups of Tur dal, wash and rinse it, take a large size potato peel off the skin, pressure cook both the items and keep aside........

Take 3 to 4 tomatoes, cut it into two slices, 3 chopped onions, 3 green chilly,coriander leaves, garlic and ginger paste..

                                           

Coriander powder, turmeric powder, oil, salt and red chilly powder......

Take some oil in pressure cooker and heat it.. put coriander powder, turmeric powder, green chilly, chopped onion, garlic ginger paste and fry till it become brown colour.

 Put sliced tomato, cooked dal,and potato, salt to taste, red chilly powder and cook for ten minutes.....

 Now sprinkle chopped coriander leaves now Dal is ready........ I had just tried and tested it........ feels sleeeeeeepy..... you try and comment....

Kambala

Kambala is traditionally a simple sport. The 'track' used for Kambala is a paddy field filled with slush. The contest generally takes place between two pairs of buffaloes, controlled by a whip-lashing farmer.

In olden days, the winning pair of buffaloes were rewarded with coconuts and a bunch of plantains. But, Kambala today has become an organised,professional sports.

Preparing Buffaloes

People place massive amounts of bets on the winning buffaloes and one can witness more than 20,000 spectators in a well organised Kambala, egging and cheering the buffaloes to complete the race. As of now, more than 45 races are held annually in Coastal Karnataka. Nearly 18 kambalas are held under the banner of Kambala Samithi and the rest are held under the auspices of temples, political patronage and aristocratic Bunt households. Kambala still remains a hugely popular sport in Coastal Karnataka

Day before yesterday in my office receptionist is struggling with computer, when I reached there she asked me will you please do me a favour? I had asked what's the matter? she replied my system hanged, one of the software is not closing... I told her to give an end task... after a fleeting look at the key board she is asking me with "WHERE IT IS?"
