Udupi Paryaya 2012

Udupi is called as a temple town and Paryaya a religious function which takes place every alternative year at Sri Krishna Matha of Udupi. There is total eight matha’s in Udupi and it called as ashta matha. The puja and administration of Krishna Matha is distributed among the swamiji of these Matha. Every Matha get chance to perform Puja by rotation of two years.

2012 Paryaya will be held on 18^th of January and Puja and administration is handed over to Sode Vadiraja Matha. During this season whole Udupi was decorated with lightings in some special vocations Ratha (temple car) is pulled around Car Street. The below snaps are taken on 14^th Jan 2012.

Aloo soya bean curry

 Put Soya bean ball in boiled water and keep a side for fifteen  minutes. Take little oil on pressure cooker and heat it, put 4-5 spoon coriander powder and heat it when colour turned it in to light brown put a small spoon of turmeric powder and red chilly powder.

Now take garlic ginger paste and chopped onions and fry it, when it turns dark brown colour, sliced tomatoes and fry it till properly mixed.

Piece peeled potatoes and mix it with fried masala and soya bean balls, pour little water and salt close the lid and pressure cook it for 3 to 4 whistle. 

Taste it with White rice or chapatis.
